Creating a new series of work based based on my family and concentrating on the interaction between me and my family. I hope creating three paimntings at once gave me the opportunity to view this series together as one. It might be overwealming but it gave me the courage to push myself forword. Coming to the studio everyday to work on it, became my daily routine.
Building canvas
Transportation has always been a difficult pasrt of creating a painting for me. Without a vierical is hard to build a big canvas. Caring 8 foot long wood to differnt locations to have the wood cut and built is one of my biggest callenges I face. As I step into painting larger scale, my paintings are now four times larger pthan me. I am so thankful thhat My friends are willing to help me out.
Sun in the studio
Today was a busy day in the studio. Throughout te process of the painting, at a certian time around 5pm, there will always be this spot light thhat will apear in my painting. I think it plays an important roll in my painting, somthing that only I saw. So today I decide to add the sunlight into my painting. The sun itself created it’s own perfect shape.
